The Context diamond features only 8 facets, 4 on the crown, and 4 on the pavillion.
Among 100,000 rough diamonds there is only one ideally formed,
perfect octahedron which is suitable for the Context diamond
cut.
Each Context diamond has a laser engraved code on the girdle
of the stone, which is invisible to the naked eye. The Context
diamond is a unique and individual piece, including a certificate
that traces the diamond back to the country where the rough diamond
was mined.
The Context Diamond has only eight facets and two culets. In
the top view of the Context, the face appears as a star shaped
diagonal cross in the square base.
The Context Diamond has a considerably higher level of reflectance
than standard diamond cuts.
A certificate of each diamond shows each phase of the diamond,
from the rough diamonds country of origin to the person who wears
it.
Context Diamonds are only cut and supplied from one Diamond
supplier in the world.
Patents for the whole world have been granted for the Context
Diamond design.

The Red Dot award for High & Highest design quality is
an internationally recognised sign of quality for innovative design. It has
been awarded annually since 1955. It recognises the “Best Of The Best”,
and is a guarantee of quality. When the Context diamond received the “Highest
Design Quality” award in 1997, it was the first time a diamond had been
placed on par with world famous design products such as the Audi TT. The innovative
cut design was the decisive factor in it being given such a high rating.
